Kapalua Plantation course is known for hosting the Mercedes Championship tournament, but there is so much more the camera never shows. The course is the most challenging of the three courses found in Kapalua the Village and Bay course .
Set on an old pineapple plantation the course features long open fairways, scenic ocean views and deep valleys. The cross cutting wind can be a serious foe on the open Plantation course. Undulating greens test your ability to find the line, hold it and gauge speed. Tall grass along the fairway edge will make you reconsider your fairway placement.
Best Tee Times
Best tee time is the afternoon. The trade winds will help on some holes. Mornings can be wet until the winds pick up and blow the clouds away. Afternoon tee times are harder to book so book early up to 30 days in advance. If problems erupt with your schedule, they can move your tee times painlessly.
