Wailea Emerald Course is considered the beautiful woman of the three courses at Wailea Maui. Originally planned to be a relaxing retreat from the ego killing Gold course, the Emerald has nic-named into being the favored woman's course on Maui. A honor deserved and yet not. The course was designed to include flower hazards, super wide fairways, shorter strategic hazard placement, and multiple tee box locations so any golfer could adjust to their particular game levels. Good idea but bad interpretations. This course has numerous awards from Golf Digest, Golf for Women, and Golf Magazine. Highly foliaged edges and carpet like fairways create the tropical paradise. This is a more relaxing course that leaves you refreshed instead of wiped out.
