Honokowai;

Honokowai area known for its coastline, valleys and tropical rain forests. This is a relaxed area especially for the budget minded who want to get away from it all.

Kahana and Napili;

Kahana and Napili area is a low key best kept secret. Napili has excellent swimming and snorkeling at Honokeana Cove. This area of West Maui is easy to bike around. There is a great beach front restaurant with a bar for watching sunsets. This is an excellent getaway place, that is close to night life and great shopping in Ka'anapali.

Kapalua;

Surrounded by marine life preserves, Kapalua is a paradise, an operating pineapple plantation edge this manicured area known for “The Plantation at Kapalua”, a PGA golf course. Tours of the plantation, excellent lifeguard attended sand beaches and a rain forest preserve will keep you busy exploring. With world-class golf, Ritz Carlton resort, and luxury fine dining it is hard to say this is affordable but it is defiantly worth visiting.

Area Weather:

West Maui is slightly wetter than the arid Makena, Kihei, and Ka’anapali areas, this area will get a usual morning misting but the trade winds will blow away the clouds soon enough.
